More Than HIV

It is with great pleasure that I am announcing that A Marine and HIV is now More Than HIV.  I have decided to update the site and change the name because I am more than HIV and I would like to start expanding my advocacy work.  Yes HIV is a part of who I am but I am also a son, brother, partner, veteran, and so many more things.  I chose to go with the name More Than HIV because we are all more than just a disease or a diagnosis and we cannot let those define who we are.

I will be rolling out new updates in the days to come but I wanted to let everyone know what is going on.  With any type of major change, there will be some bumps in the road as I try to get everything squared away and switched over so in advanced, I appreciate your patience and support through the process.

We all should be able to tell our stories to others like you have here!So many people are afraid of even the ketters together H-I-V, the more that share their stories, the more who are getting information, facts & most of all that we are human beings too who do not want to be defined by a virus! Of course there will be hate and scrutiny, but as we share the love / hearts / happiness, we can only hope that is enough to correct the stigma against HIV/AIDS.
I will stand with you to share my personal story! Thank you for your consideration and hope & honestly
    Sincerely,
    Douglas Johnston
